India in Libya, Embassy of India, Tripoli organised the Ayurveda Day Celebration on 23 September 2026 with particiation of Indian and Libyan doctors, paramedics, academics and officials. Ambassador Dr. Hifzur Rahman welcomed the guests highlighting the efforts made by Ministry of Ayush, Government of India to propagate Ayurveda accross the world. Dr. Ibrahim Ahmad Alsharf, Chairman of the Libyan Medical Authority graced the event as Chief Guest and addressed the gathering. Mr. SANJEEV delivered key note address on the history and utility of Ayurveda in contemporary time. Mr. Second Secretary Mr. Sandeep Kumar proposed vote of thanks.
